To develop vision statement for Aizawl City and definition of goals in context with Smart City Mission, Urban Development &Poverty Alleviation Department, invites Citizens to participate in the essay competition for "Smart City Aizawl" initiative.

The Essay competition is divided into two categories:

a) Open
b) Higher Secondary School Level

This essay will focus on three questions:

1. Issues/needs brought out by Citizens of the City
2. Citizens Solutions to address Issues/Needs
3. Citizens Priority

Topic: ‘MY DREAM CITY’

Rules

• Maximum word limit - 1000 words
• All the essays must be submitted to Director, UD&PA Deptt. Govt. of Mizoram, Thakthingtlang, Aizawl, Mizoram
• Residents can submit their essay in – English and Mizo
• All the residents can participate in the open essay competition.

1) First Prize - 25000
2) Second Prize - 15000
3) Third Prize - 10000

Higher Secondary School Level

1) First Prize - 5000
2) Second Prize - 3000
3) Third Prize - 2000

How to Submit

Essay should be submitted in Hard copy to Director, Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation Department, Thakthing, Aizawl.

*Last date of Submission: 14th November, 2015.
*Prize distribution will be held on 27th November 2015, at NLUP Conference Hall, Aizawl.
*Participation Certificate will be given to all Participants.
